The felt we use for our storage cubes is a very special fabric, made in Yorkshire from 100% recycled textiles.
Textile waste is collected, sorted, processed and turned into a thick felt which we then make into our storage cubes.
The mix of materials used to make the felt creates a beautifully random, multi-coloured melange of threads and textures giving each cube its own character.
Inspired by the makers in our family, sisters Kathleen and Mary who spent their lives working as Tailoresses - as well as being accomplished crafters at home. Our new range of project bags are made using a premium heavyweight cloth made from 100% wool, woven and finished in Yorkshire.
Our Stanningley collection of bags and accessories are made from a very special cloth. Made from 100% wool, spun, woven and finished in a historic mill in West Yorkshire that has a rich history of producing the highest quality woollen textiles for over 200 years.
We use offcuts and ends of rolls that are surplus to the mills needs to design, produce and finish this range of goods. The nature of the fabric means items are often finished with clean, raw edges for a modern, minimal feel.
