Beaverbrook

Beaverbrook is a quintessentially English Country House estate nestled in the heart of the picturesque Surrey Hills.  The estates most famous resident, Lord Beaverbrook, was the wartime Minister of Aircraft and famously trebled the production of Spitfires that played a crucial role in the Battle of Britain. Beaverbrook marries this beguiling spirit of the past with the luxury of the now. We were delighted to be asked again to make a bespoke collection of Christmas stockings to guests who were residing with them over Christmas.

30 stockings were made using our wool rich Milnsbridge cloth that had been washed and brushed for a cosy, warm handle.  Each stocking was embellished with two woollen tassels and hand-printed cotton labels that featured Beaverbrook’s iconic emblem – the Spitfire.
